Colorite Polymers can be your single source for all general purpose clear and filled compounds, Elastichem™ thermoplastic elastomers, Multichem™ vinyl-urethane alloys, foam compounds and concentrates, and Self-Frosting™ compounds. We continually introduce new product formulations to the marketplace. Following is a complete summary of each of our product categories.

Flexchem™ -- A Silicone Substitute
A new high performance PVC which is ideal for critical medical applications, and offers the potential to replace silicone rubber in many instances where a high degree of resilience is required. Translucent, flexible, and non-toxic, Flexchem has a durometer range from 35 to 65 shore A hardness, and is designed to meet all USP Class VI requirements.

Radiation Sterilizable -- Discoloration & Degradation Resistant
A series of vinyl compounds series developed to resist discoloration and degradation when subjected to gamma ray sterilization.

Radiopaque
Compounds for radiopaque applications using barium sulphate in a variety of hardnesses and colors, for the production of catheters or striping.

Non-Phthalate -- Formulations
Compounds designed for medical device manufacturing where a non-phthalate plasticizer system is desired.

Rigid PVC -- Shore D Hardnesses Above 60
For a wide variety of uses where a clear, rigid compound is needed. These compounds are for extrusion, injection molding, and blow molding applications.

Elastichem™ -- Thermoplastic Elastomer for a Variety of Industries
A unique family of PVC products that range from 35 to 85 shore A hardness and offer durability, scratch resistance, improved physical properties, and excellent resilience.

Clear Extrusion
Clear non-toxic vinyl compounds utilized by the health and medical industries for the production of disposable devices.

Clear Injection Molding
Clear non-toxic vinyl compounds utilized by the health and medical industries for the production of various components such as drip chambers, connectors, valves, etc.

Automotive
We offer a variety of approved and recommended compounds for the automotive market. Our compounds come in a full range of hardnesses, from 40 durometer to full rigid, in molding and extrusion grade for interior or exterior applications.

Self-Frosting™ -- Vinyl Compounds for Satin Smooth Matte surfaces
A replacement for cold-die techniques which can reduce production rates by as much as 20%, these vinyl compounds result in a smooth, low gloss, low friction surface and allow the user to maintain production rates with a uniform reproducible matte finish. Available in clear and colors in hardnesses from 35A to 95A.

General Purpose -- PVC Compounds for a Variety of Applications
Our general purpose vinyl compounds are suitable for interior or exterior applications requiring such properties as ultraviolet resistance, fungus resistance, flame retardance, and low-temperature and chemical resistance. Suction cups, furniture trim, vacuum cleaner parts, wire insulation, gasoline tubing, boat dock bumpers and literally thousands more applications are possible. If you have a product for which injection molding or extrusion is required, call Colorite.

Multichem™ -- Vinyl-Urethane Alloys
A vinyl-urethane blend created to yield a product with urethane properties and vinyl processing capabilities. No pre-drying is required and is available in clear and colors in hardnesses from 60A to 60D.

Vinyl Foam
For compounds from a 40 Shore A to 70 Shore A, the foamed vinyl is supplied as a one-component system. For 70 Shore A to rigid, it is furnished as a two-part system, a vinyl compound with a foam concentrate.

Wire & Cable
Specialty wire and cable compounds feature low smoke properties, excellent flame retardance, low temperature flexibility, and resistance to both abrasion and chemicals. They are available in UL and non-UL grades. Our engineering grade thermoplastic elastomers can stand up to the most demanding applications.
