Tekni-Plex Expands Manufacturing Capabilities with PVC Compounding in Suzhou, China
SOMERVILLE, NJ – Tekni-Plex, a global, diversified manufacturer of packaging products and materials for the healthcare, consumer and food packaging industries, has expanded its capabilities at its Suzhou, China subsidiary, with the installation of new state-of-the-art compounding equipment designed to meet the most exacting and consistent manufacturing standards. These lines are fully operational in a plant that is ISO 9000-2000 and ISO 13458 certified and cGMP compliant.
Tekni-Plex, Suzhou now offers a wide range of Colorite compounds including:
- PVC flexible, medical grade compounds for molding or extrusion
- PVC rigid and semi-rigid compounds for molding or extrusion
- Thermoplasticelastomers (TPEs) for medical and general applications
- Filled compounds for hose and GP applications
- Low-smoke compounds for wire and cable.
